Brumley Sundown to Sunup Gospel Sing at Parson\u2019s Rodeo Arena in Springdale, AR. The resonating tunes of groups like The Hinson\u2019s, The Kingsmen, and The Lester Family left an indelible mark on him. Growing passionate about Southern Gospel, Jon\u2019s love for harmonies and vocals, particularly the tenor part in men\u2019s quartets, took root.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pivotal influence on Jon\u2019s musical odyssey was Jay Parrack and the Gold City Quartet, especially during the Parrack tenure. Reflecting on his fondest configurations, Jon holds a special place for Gold City during those years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past 15 years, he has been fortunate to share the stage with Day 4\u2019s bass singer, Keith Schneider, in various gospel groups. Having previously crossed paths with Tim and Zach during their stints in other musical endeavors, Jon is now honored to stand alongside them as a member of Day 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Outside the stage, Jon and his wife Lisa are active members of Diamond First Baptist Church, where he contributes his talents to the praise and worship team.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jon\u2019s journey into Southern Gospel music commenced in his youth, sparked by his family\u2019s regular attendance at the annual Albert E.
